The CMZ TA 30 and the Puma 2600 are machines of equivalent size but with numerous differences in structure and features.
The prismatic guides on the CMZ TA 30 have metal on metal contact. Specifically, a ground surface is permanently in contact with a hand scraped surface. In contrast, on the Puma 2600 contact is between metal and turcite.
The X, Y, Z travels on the CMZ TA 30 are longer than on the Puma 2600 , and can therefore handle larger parts.
The CMZ TA 30 spindle is more powerful than the Puma 2600 spindle, in terms of power and torque rating. It also has greater milling capacity, because the driven tool provides more power and speed.
