DISCOVER THE MAIN DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THESE LATHES
The CMZ TA and LB 3000 EX III are CNC lathes, but with significant differences in features and design.
The CMZ TA is a slant bed CNC lathe, which minimises precision errors, whereas the LB 3000 EX III is a flat bed lathe.
The CMZ TA-25 has a more powerful spindle, with a maximum torque and power output of 900 Nm and 25 kW, whereas the LB 3000 EX III reaches 427 Nm and 30 Kw in S2 (30 min).
The CMZ TA turret can have 12 or 15 positions and is designed with an integrated motor which reaches 12,000 rpm continuous power. The Okuma LB 3000 EX III reaches a maximum of 6,000 rpm. In addition, the CMZ TA has a high milling capacity reaching 75 Nm and 11.3 kW.
As regards automation, the CMZ TA can be acquired on any market with a Gantry loader and work stocker for flanges or axles.
