The CMZ TD and the LB3000 EX III are CNC lathes in the same segment but analysis of their features shows significant differences.
The CMZ TD has higher torque and power in all the spindle ranges in relation to the LB3000 EX III. In the TD-55 model, the maximum torque available is 3,684 Nm (max). The TD sub-spindle reaches 42kW, whereas the LB3000 EX III reaches 11 kW (20 min).
The CMZ TD turret has more features than the turret on the LB3000 EX III. There are between 12 or 16 positions to choose from and it has an integrated motor which reaches 12,000 rpm continuous power.
Another advantage of the CMZ TD is automation, because it can be purchased in any market with a Gantry Loader with capacity for 2 x 10 kg parts or 2 x 50 kg parts.
