CMZ at Swiss Skills 2018
That event exists, it is called SwissSkills and in September 2018 it has celebrated its 6th edition in Budapest. In this competition the participants have different spaces in which to put into play their abilities and dexterity to perform any type of activity: from machining parts to construction of wooden cabinets, including construction of robots. Swiss Skills is aimed at young people who are willing to demonstrate their abilities in a broad range of categories. Through our official distributor in Switzerland, Binkert, CMZ has contributed its part in this competition and is that our lathes have been present.
Our presence in Swiss Skills 2018 has enabled a large number of candidates to demonstrate their skills in machining parts by operating our CNC lathes. The strength of our machines and the great skill demonstrated by the participants have turned out to be the perfect tandem. Those who passed by the stand, enjoyed the candidate's ability in the handling of our CNC lathes.
Although none of them won the final victory, it was very special for us to be able to collaborate in such a great event designed for all participants to shine demonstrating skills in certain professions that, unfortunately, with the passage of time have been lost.
For us, it has been a pride to be able to collaborate in such a special and useful competition. In addition to making our machines known, it has allowed us to discover great talents in a dynamic and very interesting environment. It has been a pleasure.
