About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Service Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of CMZ CNC machines across customer sites.

Experience within CNC service engineering is essential, but ongoing product and technical training will be provided to enhance your CMZ knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, service, and repair CMZ CNC lathes
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown response
  • Maintain accurate records, service reports, and documentation
  • Support customers with training on machine functions and controls

Skills & Experience

  • Proven CNC lathe service/maintenance background – essential
  • CMZ experience advantageous but not required
  • Mechanical/electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of Fanuc CNC controls
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Strong communication and customer-focused approach
  • Full UK driving licence
