IMPORT DXF TO IHMI
Very often part geometries are complex and it is difficult to program the trajectories just by following the drawing.
The latest Fanuc Plus control allows to import DXF geometries directly into the CNC lathe. Just import the file into the machine, select the origin of the part, working plane and contour and define the machining operation. The control will output the standard cycle code plus the figure block. This option is available for turning, drilling and milling operations. You can easily modify the figure or cycle afterwards.
This new feature will speed up programming time as figures will not have to be drawn by the operator or points of the trajectory calculated which was quite time consuming.
