As part of this expansion, the business will relocate from its current Rugby office to a new purpose-built facility in Coventry.
Role Overview
We are looking for an organised and proactive Operations & Administration Manager to oversee the day-to-day administration and operational activities of the UK subsidiary.
The role will initially be based at the company's Rugby office before relocating to a new purpose-built facility in Coventry.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading European CNC machine tool manufacturer during a period of significant growth and investment within the UK market.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to grow and develop alongside the continued expansion of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative operations of the subsidiary.
- Prepare proformas, order confirmations, invoices, and customer documentation.
- Follow up on payments and assist with customer claims.
- Coordinate supplier payments, banking, insurance, and company administration.
- Support payroll and accounting processes, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and salary updates.
- Manage company vehicles, including purchasing, financing, insurance, and administration.
- Support recruitment activities, particularly for Service Engineers.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team when required.
- Purchase locally sourced accessories and materials required by CMZ UK.
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
- and a long etcetera of administrative duties and operational management responsibilities for the CMZ UK subsidiary.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in administration, operations, or office management.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of accounting and payroll administration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Sage, and standard business administration systems.
- Experience supporting recruitment and fleet administration is desirable.
- Awareness or experience within the CNC machine tool industry would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
- AAT Level 4 qualification or part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or ACA would be advantageous.
