History

70 years of experience go a long way. We know it well. Throughout our history, we have stumbled many times and we have learned from every mistake. Every step we have taken has helped us to become consolidated as CNC lathes manufacturers.

The history of CMZ is about a family company that, at a given time, underwent a great transformation and firmly committed to a singular product, CNC lathes, when the rest of the sector began to enter the field of machinery with totally ad-hoc projects. The company, currently in the hands of the Zumarraga brothers, grandchildren of the founder, is committed to this business model. Constancy, tenacity and discipline go the DNA of this company linked, since always, to the sector of the machining tool.
